Celebrating Black History Month at The Sanctuary: Honoring Black-Owned Cannabis Brands
At The Sanctuary Dispensary in Sacramento, we take pride in celebrating Black History Month by uplifting and supporting Black-owned businesses in the cannabis industry. This February, we partnered with a few amazing Black-owned and collaboration cannabis brands, including Jeeter, Conscious Mindz, Eighty East, and Presidential. These brands are well respected in the cannabis community and they highlight the contributions of Black entrepreneurs to the industry.
To make the celebration even more special, we brought in a Black-owned food truck on February 7th, offering our customers free Jamaican food while supplies lasted. It was a great way to support local Black businesses and create a welcoming, community-driven experience.
At The Sanctuary, we are committed to diversity, inclusion, and supporting equity in the cannabis industry. The contributions of Black innovators in cannabis are undeniable, and we continue to advocate for a more just and fair industry for all.
